A Tour Of The Good Trade’s New Studio In Echo Park, Los Angeles!

Thanks For Visiting Our New Studio!

We lately opened up our first creative studio like a collaborative space to create, create and gather with like-minded buddies seeking social impact. We’re thrilled to stay in the colourful community of Echo Park, an assorted and eclectic neighborhood that effortlessly blends new and old, tradition and innovation.

The Eastside enclave of Echo Park includes a century-lengthy good reputation for being the place to find most of the counter-culture, political radicals, artists, authors, architects and filmmakers of La. Blake and that i launched The Great Trade locally at the end of 2014, so when a little space in historic Echo Park lately grew to become available, we felt it had been the right creative home for the growing team and community.

“When you explore Echo Park, you instantly believe that individuals are pushing creative limitations and building towards some type of unspoken vision for any community built on local identity. ”

CO-FOUNDERS, AMYANN AND BLAKE CADWELL

We labored with designer Erin Kane to create our values for sustainability and transparency to existence within our new studio. We looked to source as numerous local and conscious brands as you possibly can and lean into our passion for natural colors and minimalism.

“It was central that people source as numerous local and sustainable brands as you possibly can, supporting artisans and independent makers alike once we introduced the company to existence. ”

– AMYANN CADWELL

A lot of our favorite pieces are sourced in the Citizenry, Rove Concepts, Article, West Elm’s Fair Trade Collections and our local Cactus Shop. Art from local watercolorist, Kristine Claghorn, and independent artist, Melanie Severin, bring color and depth to the minimal space. So we can’t stop outfitting the studio with succulents and prints from Shout contributing to, the most popular gift boutique only a couple of doorways lower.
