One of the tales to resurface was one involving Queen Elizabeth and her late husband, Prince Philip.

The Duke of Edinburgh gave Queen Elizabeth a gemstone bracelet, a bit of jewellery that is proven to be among the Monarch’s favourite ever pieces, known as ‘The Queen’s Wedding Bracelet’.

Well, apart from marking their wedding milestone, the bit of jewellery includes a connect to Prince Philip’s mother, with Princess Alice of Battenberg giving her boy diamonds from her tiara to create Queen Elizabeth a bit of jewellery. Prince Philip then designed the bracelet themself, passing on to his bride-to-be on their own big day.
