Pope Francis appoints 3 women to the Vatican’s Dicastery for Bishops: Sr. Raffaella Petrini, F.S.E., Assistant Basic from the Governorate in the Vatican Area Status; Sr. Yvonne Reungoat, F.M.A, former Outstanding Common in the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians; and, Dr. Maria Lia Zervino, President around the world Union of Catholic Women’s Agencies.

Pope Francis on Wednesday known as a few ladies on the Dicastery for Bishops, the first time ladies have been appointed to the Dicastery responsible for discovering upcoming bishops around the world.

The Holy See Press Office published the Pope’s newest sessions towards the Dicastery within a document on Wednesday.
The female people are Sibling Raffaella Petrini, F.S.E., Assistant Basic from the Governorate from the Vatican Area State; Sister Yvonne Reungoat, F.M.A, previous Excellent Common in the Daughters of Mary Aid of Christians; and, Doctor. Maria Lia Zervino, Chief executive around the globe Union of Catholic Women’s Companies.
The nomination of Ms. Zervino also markings the first visit actually of any laywoman for the Vatican Dicastery.
