I’m documenting my daily outfits for an entire year on my small Instagram. I had been wondering how my own style would evolve over one year, and that i thought about being open about where my clothes originated from and who built them into. It’s a real journey, nothing perfect. I’m inspired by slow, neutral fashion, and that i achieve for unique pieces. It’s a genuine challenge because I’m 5’1”, so I love to talk about tailoring and the way to flatter a petite frame when i uncover the things that work.
I love to find fabrics like linen that may naturally break down…plus linen is really comfortable for decent weather! I’ve been enticed through this “Year of Outfits Challenge” to eliminate old clothes which were not ethically made just to replace it all with increased ethical pieces, but it is not slow fashion. It might be less inefficient that i can have a piece that also serves an objective within my closet.
Like Erin Boyle’s book Simple Matters trained me, each bit must will work and “earn its keep” within my home. And So I lean toward interchangeable, almost monochromatic pieces. Plenty of matching and mixing happening!

Today would be a very warm day! My old J.Crew silk cami only agreed to be check in. For accessories, I’m putting on Nisolo Camilla slides and brass rings.

(Day 89 of 365)
The Everlane Boxy Striped tee is super comfy in almost any weather. It’s a thick fabric, however the slits quietly permit ventilation. Today I used it tucked into my Jesse Kamm stop shorts. I loved my nude Nisolo Mariella mules a lot that adding a black pair towards the mix made sense. They’re possibly my personal favorite footwear! I accessorized by having an heirloom necklace and Nisolo rings.
Today’s Pieces:
- EVERLANE BOXY STRIPED TEE (IN White-colored / BLACK)
- JESSE KAMM Stop SHORTS (IN BLACK)
- NISOLO MULES & Jewellery
