Big Loses To His Former Network “Chris Wallace”

Former “Fox News Sunday” anchor Chris Wallace’s CNN show debuted with lackluster ratings – losing big to his former network’s Sunday evening show located by former Congressman Trey Gowdy (R-SC).

Based on a study from RadarOnline, Wallace’s much-touted interview show – entitled “Who’s Speaking to Chris Wallace?” – tallied up only 43,800 viewers within the key 25-54 age demographic. Wallace scored just 401,000 total viewers throughout his show, which aired within the 7 p.m. ET hour.

Critics were quick to put on Wallace – who abruptly left “Fox News Sunday” in December of 2021 – suggesting that possibly he was starting to wish he had remained put.

Wallace initially stated as he left the network, he only agreed to be searching for something new.

“After 18 years, I’ve made the decision to depart FOX. I wish to try something totally new, to visit beyond politics, to everything I’m thinking about,” he described throughout his final “Fox News Sunday” broadcast. “I’m ready for any new adventure, and that i hope you’ll take a look.
